那進入正題啦,今天Crystal老師為我們帶來的是雅思托福聽力中的語氣詞。
因為雅思托福都是真人錄音,所以在交流中富有感情色彩,就出現了各種語音現象。如何有效的鑒別這些語音所代表的涵義,對我們的雅思托福學習有很大幫助哦。下邊是Crystal老師老師總結的語音信息銜接的四個關鍵點。
語音信息銜接
• 句子重音:語氣加重,這些加重的內容很可能就是答題的關鍵點。
• 邏輯重音:刻意在某個單詞上語音加重,很多時候是語段間的邏輯轉換點。
• 語調:升調出現時多為出題點。
• 語氣助詞:表示喜,怒,驚三種態度。
停頓後,口誤改正後的內容多為出題點。
那今天,Crystal老師主要講解的就是語氣助詞的部分,涵蓋「喜、怒、驚」三個系列。
「喜」系列
代表詞匯:Wow! Good thing! Bingo! Now! Thank Goodness!Yummy!
涵義:表開心,對對方說法表讚同或肯定的評價。
Eg.
I keep putting off getting my passport application.
Thank Goodness! I didn’t drag my feet on that one.
「怒」系列
代表詞匯:Oops! Uh-uh! Too bad! Bad luck! Oh, dear! Ah, nuts!
涵義:表失望,對對方說法表反對,否定或負評價。
Eg.
Uh-uh. Look I’m going to be a little late for class.
I hope Prof. Clark doesn’t start on time today.
Are you kidding? You can set your watch by the start of his class.
「驚」系列
代表詞匯:Oh, man ! Gosh! My God! Dear me! Jesus! Really? Oh, no!
涵義:表驚訝,或是對對方的說法表示驚嘆或感慨。
Eg.
Do you want to sign up for Prof. Wilson’s class?
I heard he got his doctorate when he was 19.
Really?
那認識了不同情緒的語氣助詞,老師又特別舉出了兩個題目,來進行具體應用的探討。大家注意看題哦。

Well, if you’d ever driven on a mountain road, you know that it has a lot of twists and turns and bends in it because that’s how engineers keep the roads from having to be too steep.
