刀疤嫉妒辛巴會成為榮耀國國王，他慫恿辛巴去黑暗的邊界，騙他那里是大象的墓地，辛巴為了證明自己的勇敢，暗暗下決心要去一探究竟……

Safely home, Simba told Scar his dadhad just showed him the kingdom which he was going to rule. All the land was his except the shadowy place.He was never to go there.
辛巴安全地回到家，看見刀疤正在一塊巖石上曬太陽。辛巴開心地告訴刀疤，父親帶他參觀了整個王國。這里所有的土地都將是他的，除了那片暗黑的邊界。他永遠也不能去那兒。
Scar told Simba to promise never go to the elephant graveyard. It was not a place for a young princebut only the bravest lions. Young Simba was quickly interested by this.
Simba found his best friend, Nala. He then lied to his mother about where they were going. They went together with Zazu. Simba and Nala ran through groups of animals until they left Zazu far behind.
刀疤告訴辛巴，那黑暗的邊界是大象墓地。他讓辛巴發誓永遠不會去那兒。刀疤說那里可不是小王子能去的地方，只有最勇敢的獅子才能去。辛巴的好奇心一下子被激發了。
辛巴找到他最好的朋友娜娜，接著又跟媽媽撒了個謊，沒有說出他們真正想去的地方。沙祖陪著兩只小獅子一起出發了，可是辛巴和娜娜飛快地穿過動物群，把沙祖遠遠地甩在了後面。
Simba and Nala stumbled down a hill and landed with a thud… They were in the scary elephant graveyard. At that moment, three hungry hyenas named Banzai, Shenzi, and Ed crept towards them.
辛巴和娜娜不小心滾下山坡，「砰」 的一聲落在了一穎大象頭骨旁邊。他們掉進了可怕的大象墓地。這時候，三只分別叫做班仔、阿德和紳子的鬣狗流著口水，從大象的頭骨里鑽出來，悄悄地靠近了他們。
Scared, the cubs ran for their lives. Asthey ran,Nala suddenly slipped and fell. Shenzi the hyena attacked her, but Simba scratched at the hyena. Suddenly Mufasa appeared! He roared and slammed the hyenas into the ground.The three scared bullies ran away as Scar looked from the shadows.
兩個小家夥拼命逃跑，他們被嚇壞了!糟糕，娜娜不小心滑倒了,鬣狗紳子立刻向她猛撲過去。辛巴趕緊用鋒利的爪子攻擊鬣狗，可是並沒有什麼用處。突然，木法沙咆哮著出現了。他狠狠地把鬣狗摔在地上。三只鬣狗嚇破了膽，灰溜溜地逃走了。刀疤躲在陰影里，看見了這一切。
Mufasa was disappointed in Simba. I was just trying to be brave like you, Dad,” Simba said sheepishly. “Being brave doesn’t mean you go looking for trouble,」 Mufasa explained gently.
木法沙對辛巴很失望。「爸爸，我只是想和您一樣勇敢。」辛巴解釋說。木法沙溫柔地回答:「兒子，勇敢並不代表你要到處闖禍。」
Later that night, Scar went to see the hyenas.He was angry that they could not kill the cubs. The next day, Scar led Simba into a deep valley and signaled the hyenas to scare a group of wildebeests.
當天夜里，刀疤找到了鬣狗，他生氣地質問他們為什麼不殺掉辛巴和娜娜。第二天，刀疤把辛巴帶進了一個大峽谷，接著悄悄示意鬣狗去嚇唬一群角馬。
今天的故事中，木法沙將淘氣的辛巴從三只饑餓的鬣狗口中救出，也沒有對他生氣，反而耐心的教導他。在生活中，爸爸有沒有對你做過讓你感動的事情呢？
