WeChat’s newest update now supports real-time translation, allowing
users to instantly translate anything they point the phone’s camera at.

After updating to version 6.6.7, the new feature can be accessed from the scan feature in the upright corner, which previously used for scanning QR codes. Now it’s used for both QR codes and translating.

Please note: This feature is only available on iOS. It is currently not known when it will be launched for Android.

This camera-based instant translation function currently only supports translations between two languages, Chinese and English. However, more languages may be added in the future.
